The Gem & Mineral Society, a part of the Town & Country Lifelong Learners: Leisure Pursuits is an activity and educational program, facilitated by volunteers, serving residents of Chandler, Gilbert and Queen Creek, AZ.
Monthly activities may include Artisan of the Month awards, guest speakers, displays, tasty treats and camaraderie with friendly fellow rockhounds, field trips to discover different rocks, fossils and minerals.
Members may also take classes in lapidary, jewelry making, carving, tumbling, beading, chain making and mineral identification.

I was not able to agree more! I said something
similar to my husband and since many individuals who would listen.
I don’t have an engagement or wedding-ring. I find the thought I want a
ring at all offensive. I am married. I made a vow!
I am not going to forget. I love my husband and I gave myself to him willingly,
however he doesn’t own me and have to brand me. Generally people know I
am married, since I’m a stay at home mother with three children in tow.
On the few occasions, I have also been approached by someone I merely say I am married.
